Living with dachshunds changes the rhythm of a home in small, very specific ways. They have their habits, their opinions, and a kind of quiet persistence that usually gets them exactly what they want. Somewhere along the way, you stop thinking of things as “for the dog” and start noticing what simply fits into life with them.
